The Hank uterine dilator is a manual, double-ended gynecological instrument used for the gradual, atraumatic dilation of the uterine cervix. It is commonly used in procedures such as Dilation and Curettage (D&C), hysteroscopy, and hysterectomy. The double-ended configuration offers two progressively sized tips in a single instrument, streamlining the dilation process. The Fig. 19/20 model is suitable for late-stage cervical dilation, preparing the cervical canal for larger hysteroscopic instruments or more substantial intrauterine manipulation.
